What Is Intro To Vinyasa Flow

These classes include more instructional cues for a deep understanding of the foundations of the Vinyasa flow yoga practice the 150+ physical postures and how to properly do them.

 
 

Class Focus

 

Breathwork

Yoga Breathing or Pranayama, is the foundation of the yoga practice. It has the ability to reduce stress, increase alertness and boost your immune system. For centuries yogis have used breathwork to promote concentration and improve vitality.

Meditation

Vinyasa flow yoga is a moving meditation. The pairing of breath with intentional movement open the gate to experience the flow state - free flowing energy of creativity, awareness and purpose to access a state of pure consciousness, presence and enjoyment in what you are doing now.

Mindful movement on the mat and in life

The vinyasa yoga practice uses the physical body as a vessel. We work through challenging poses and transitions that demand our full attention so we can work with who we are under stress and under pressure. If we work with and refine our stress responses on the yoga mat, we can use these tools to better handle and skillfully respond to the unpredictabilities of life.

Em Hrovat

Finding yoga changed the course of Em’s life. After getting hooked as a practitioner Em quickly earned her teachers certificate, made the career move to full time teacher and then started a revolution in the Cleveland yoga community by creating fun and unique yoga experiences. Combat Yoga is Em’s latest and most unique approach to yoga. By taking the teachings and philosophy of her husbands wrestling and combining it with her knowledge of yoga she created this 21 day challenge to improve your mind, body, spirit and soul.

Andy Hrovat

As an athlete Andy reached the pinnacle of the sport by becoming an Olympian. Unsatisfied with just being an Olympian, Andy moved to Vladikavkaz, Russia to learn from the best athletes and coaches in the world. Upon retiring Andy embarked on an 8 year coaching and entrepreneurship journey. His path lead him to create the B.A.S.E Wrestling Training system and the philosophy of wrestling.
