Journal Thoughts

Start each day the rest of the week with this good morning lymphatic jump start.

Do this 10 times through

Find a comfortable seat with a tall spine.

  • 10 rounds of Ujjayi breath

  • Side Bend Right (2 breaths)

  • Side Bend Left (2 breaths)

  • Arm Circles (2x forward/2x backward)

  • Spinal Twist Right (2 breaths)

  • Spinal Twist Left (2 breaths)

  • Baby Camel (3 breaths)

Unlike blood which moves as a result of the heart pumping, lymph moves by muscular contractions.

Physical exercise is necessary for keeping lymph flowing.

Because the health of your lymphatic system mirrors the health of your immune system, becoming aware of your lymphatic system and how to support it is important for your overall vitality.

The yoga practice and all its varying movements are an alley to the lymphatic system, as it stimulates the entire body, it also stimulates every lymph node.

Because systemic inflammation can create congestion and swelling that can inhibit the flow of lymph. Avoiding inflammatory foods assists the lymphatic system and allows our body to self restore.

For the rest of the week, avoid sugar and dairy. Notice how you feel.
