Day 16 - How To Move On From The Situation

“In wrestling the more time you spend in a situation. The more understanding you have of how you can move within the situation and where the exits are.”

- Andy Hrovat

What You Can Control

Over the next 21 days the focus of this class will cover the 5 areas you can control in combat, yoga and life.

  1. Yourself - Day 1-4

  2. Your Environment - Day 5-8

  3. Your Attack - Day 9-12

  4. Your Situation Day 13-16

  5. Your Finish Day 17-21

Our Focus Today Is How To Move On From The Situation

"In today’s class we are going to explore how to move within each pose by exploring varying levels of intensity."

— Em Hrovat

Combat

Our ability to move on depends on how well we know the situation. As beginners our knowledge is limited, but as we gain experience within the situation our realm of knowledge grows and increases our potential for a successful finish.

Yoga

Today we were provided the opportunity to move around poses in new and challenging ways.

Which poses did you really get out of your comfort zone and grow in? Where did you find yourself holding back? What was it that made you hold back?

Life

Challenging ourselves is one of the best ways to stimulate growth and understanding of who we are and what we are capable of doing.

Today write down how you have grown since we started this challenge. What has this challenge shown you are capable of doing?

"The more time you spend in situations training the greater your realm of knowledge becomes so in competitions you have the power to control the situations on your terms."

— Andy Hrovat
