Our focus today is body fakes

Combat 

Offensive body fakes in combat are used to control the environment by invoking a response from the opponent. Depending on the reaction you either attack or pull back. 

How do we determine when to attack and when to pull back. What thoughts come to mind when thinking about this.


Yoga 

In our yoga practice body fakes allow us to explore our current realm of knowledge within a pose. Our ability to take an opening, feel it and then pull back to where we are comfortable is the best way to learn. 

Can you think of a pose in practice today where you were exploring new territory but then pulled back to a place you are more comfortable in?


Life

Not everything in life deserves our attention. Opportunity is not rare, it exist all around us. Knowing which opportunities to commit to and which ones to pull back form takes a lot of self reflection. 

What are some standards we can use to determine which opportunities get our attention.
